New Year’s Eve Party

A firm favourite with members and non-members this is always a night to be remembered!

This year we are delighted to welcome back Karl Howard who will be providing live entertainment between 8pm to 12.30am.

As ever, there will be a excellent music to sing along or dance to, a delightful buffet provided, great company to enjoy and guaranteed merriment to the early hours..

Doors open 7pm and tickets which are available from the bar NOW cost just £18 for members and £20 for members’ guests.  Cracking value and always sold out well in advance to the disappointment of many so don’t delay!  Oh, and in case of doubt, it’s on 31st December…

Halloween Supper

On Monday 27th October Monday 27th our very popular Halloween Supper was held once again with all tickets sold.  A spookily good time was enjoyed by all who attended as can be seen from the following photographs (those of a nervous disposition may wish to avert their eyes…):

Renew your Membership early and Save!

Membership dues for 2026 are due by the end of December this year.  However, with the cost so much else rising fast the Committee are delighted to advise that all membership fees for next year remains unchanged from 2025.

Better still, those members who pay their 2026 dues by December 31st will again receive a £2 prompt payment discount.  This means that with this discount, the annual membership fee for senior citizens, for example stays at £23, or just 44 pence a week including free entertainment on Saturday evenings.

Car Parking

Free car parking is available on-site to members, their guests and bona fide visitors, but only whilst on the premises and from between 15 minutes before to 15 minutes after listed opening times. This is monitored on a continuous basis by both APNR camera and regular foot patrols to prevent misuse by others. To avoid receiving a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) all members, guests and visitors MUST now enter their correct vehicle registration number in the keypad located in the Club inner foyer upon arrival. If you are visiting the Club for an appointment outside normal opening times you must enter your registration upon admittance to the building.

This move was necessitated as increasing members of the public were using the Club facilities as a free car park limiting the number of spaces for members following on from the recent reduction in free roadside parking in Rectory Road and beyond.  If you have any questions about this please address them to Shepley, Club Secretary during her normal working hours from Tuesday through Thursday.
